It’s almost time for the NFL season to begin, so you know what that means?! More Mahomes family drama on social media! Yay?
Think I’m kidding?
From February 24, 2023 to August 20, 2023, Jackson Mahomes posted only one single TikTok video.
Before his semi-enforced TikTok hiatus, Jackson had averaged 3.51 million views. In his one video, posted in April, he got 2.4 million views.
Jackson Mahomes must have finally been let out of time out, because he returned to the social media platform three days ago with a video of himself riding in a car and lip-syncing along to the Doja Cat song “Paint The Town Red.”
This latest effort, however, currently sits at 166,200 views. Ouch.

Making matters even worse for Patrick Mahomes’ brother are the comments on just his second TikTok video since February.
“why r u back?” one read.
“Do NOT show up at ANY football stadium ANYWHERE,” read another comment.
“offseasons over boys,” someone else wrote.
“This is how I know football is coming back every year,” another viewer echoed.
“How’s the case?” asked another viewer.
“Still kissing people who don’t want to be kissed?” he was also asked.
“I thought you were in jail,” commented another viewer.
Actually, Jackson Mahomes’ preliminary hearing is reportedly scheduled for August 31st, so, stay tuned.
(Interestingly, over on Jackson Mahomes’ Instagram, where has has over 250,000 followers, not one of his posts has a single comment on them. Probably for the best.)
In the meantime, he’s been busy delivering “Happy Kits” to Children’s Mercy hospital with some representatives from CommunityAmerica Credit Union in an effort to rehabilitate (or in his case, just habilitate) his image.
Jackson also took in a Taylor Swift concert from a luxury box at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium with Patrick and his sister-in-law Brittany.
Mahomes was arrested this past May and charged with three felony counts of aggravated sexual battery and one misdemeanor count of battery.
Aspen Vaughn, one of the people who accused him of that assault closed the restaurant where the incident occurred, citing a 75 percent drop in profits and concerns for her personal safety after being harassed and receiving death threats.
