  • Jake Paul and Tyson Fury agreed to a $1M bet
  • The wager revolved around the winner of Paul’s fight with Tommy Fury
  • Paul claims that Tyson is afraid to back his brother, and he’s now backing out

There’s more drama surrounding the Jake Paul-Tommy Fury fight.

Last week, Paul singled Fury out for not wanting to sign the paperwork to make the event happen. After a back-and-forth on Twitter, it finally looked as though the details were agreed upon and the fight was set.

Then, another turn.

Yesterday, Paul again called Tommy out for trying to avoid the matchup. Fury’s visa was denied at customs leaving him unable to enter the United States. The two boxers were supposed to have a press conference for the upcoming August bout, but instead, fans just got a couple of rants from Paul on social media.

Now, Paul is at it again.

This time he’s not only taking shots at Tommy, but he’s bringing his brother, Tyson, into the mix, too.

Jake Paul claims that Tyson Fury is afraid to bet on his brother

Jake Paul popped up on Twitter again, this time to say that Tyson Fury was backing out of a $1M bet the two had agreed upon. That wager was to pick the winner of Paul’s upcoming bout with Tyson’s brother.

“Tyson Fury’s lawyer never got back to my team on setting up escrow for our $1M bet. Never believed in his brother. Instructed my team to do a Hova and move On To The Next One.”

Paul insinuates that Tyson is too scared to back his brother, Tommy. And, of course, he took time out to say that Tommy is still afraid to fight, calling him “B-tch made.”

We likely won’t have to wait long to hear the next drama in this saga. Let’s hope that the Furys respond to both the bet and the accusation of ducking the event.
