James Harden Appears To Troll 76ers GM Daryl Morey With Bottle Service Sign At Club

James Harden has played for three different NBA teams in the past three years, and it seems like there’s a good chance that number will rise to four as he tries to force his way out of Philadelphia thanks in no small part to his feud with GM Daryl Morey—a beef that is still very much alive and well based on a bottle service sign that popped up at a club where the guard recently partied.

Harden was traded to the 76ers shortly before the All-Star Break in 2022, and while he picked up his $35.6 million player option instead of entering free agency following the end of last season, he supposedly did so under the impression it would make it easier for Philadelphia to find a suitor in the trade he made it pretty clear he wanted.

However, that did not turn out to be the case, and the situation got increasingly uglier and contentious as the summer unfolded.

In August, the 76ers informed Harden they expected him to show up to training camp, which led to the 10-time All-Star calling Morey a liar at a press conference while pledging he “will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of.”

Harden received a $100,000 fine for those comments, but it doesn’t seem like that was enough to dissuade him from continuing his crusade against the GM.

Last week, Harden headed to Kamp Houston to let loose on Thursday night and was at the center of a promotional video that chronicled his appearance at the nightclub.

That clip included a woman holding a bottle service sign emblazoned with the words “DARYL MOREY IS A LIAR,” and while there’s no way to know if Harden was the person who requested it, it doesn’t seem like a huge stretch to suggest he or someone in his crew had a hand in that message getting displayed in the middle of the club.

The NBA’s ability to produce some incredibly petty drama remains unrivaled.
