James Harrison’s resume speaks for itself. The former Pittsburgh Steelers superstar linebacker was undrafted out of Kent State in 2002. He then bounced from the Steelers, to the Ravens to NFL Europe before landing back in Pittsburgh in 2004.
From the point on, Harrison carved out a career as one of the NFL’s most-feared edge rushers. He was a two-time first-team all-pro selection. He made the second team two times and played in five Pro Bowls. Harrison reached his height in 2008 when he was named the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year and he helped the Steelers to the Lombardi Trophy in both 2006 and 2009.
But beyond all the trophies and the accolades, Harrison is perhaps known for his absolutely immense strength. His feats of strength are so legendary that Men’s Journal did a piece in 2016 documenting his 30 most impressive workouts.
Among those feats was Harrison banging out 150-pound dumbbell curls for reps with a pair of elastic bands attached. Y’know, just to make things a little difficult on him. But his latest video may just be the most impressive one yet.

Harrison retired from the NFL in 2017. But that hasn’t kept him from staying in absolutely absurd shape. It had been a while since he showed the world just what a freak of an athlete he truly is. So the hilariously jacked former linebacker took to TikTok on Friday just to give everyone a little reminder of his power.

Yup, that’s 44-year-old James Harrison just casually pushing a sled (without using the bars!) weighing 1,960 pounds! That’s 42 plates and nearly one ton of weight that this man just moved out of the way.
