Since being drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 draft by the New England Patriots, Jarrett Stidham has thrown a total of 131 passes in the NFL.
He is now on his third team in three years after signing a two-year, $10 million contract ($5 million guaranteed) with the Denver Broncos.
In his three years with the Patriots, Stidham only threw 48 passes backing up Tom Brady for a year then Cam Newton and Brian Hoyer before missing the 2021 season after back surgery.
Last year, Jarrett Stidham finally got to start two games with the Las Vegas Raiders under his former offensive coordinator in New England, Josh McDaniels. Both starts came after the Raiders and their former franchise QB Derek Carr decided to part ways.
While he was having the best day of his career in his first start, his wife Kennedy Stidham went viral because the Fox cameras kept showing her during the broadcast.
When it was revealed that Stidham had signed a free agent contract with the Raiders for the 2023 season, his wife Kennedy appeared very excited about the news.
Kennedy, a Baylor soccer alum, had several reasons to be stoked. She gets to hang out with Ciara now. Her husband just cashed in throwing 83 total passes for a guaranteed $5 million. Plus, who knows how long Russell Wilson will actually be the starter in Denver after last season’s disappointing results.
Earlier this week, Kennedy revealed that the couple were putting some of that $5 million to good use with a tropical vacation to Punta Mita, Mexico.
“punta mita files,” she wrote on Instagram. “the most fun trip- the vlog is finally up now!!!”
That’s right. She vlogs. Her latest effort is a whopping 43 minutes long.
“i love this vlog so much!!!” Kennedy wrote in the vlog’s description. “we had such a good family weekend!! & lennon missed yallll!! we cooked our favorite spicy rigatoni recipe, went to the zoo, and just had some quality time together. thanks for always watching & supporting!! we love yall!”
As you can see from her Instagram post and her vlogs, she hates capital letters and absolutely loves exclamation points.
