Eagles O-Lineman Jason Kelce Has Some Profound Thoughts On How Music Education Can Help You In Life

Old Spice

Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jason Kelce is a legend for lots of the reasons: The Super Bowl speech, the Mummers outfit for the Super Bowl parade, the beard itself. But lesser known fact about Kelce is that he can rip on the baritone saxophone.

Back in high school, between giving out snaps for the football team, Kelce played in all sorts of band ensembles. I’ve always been fascinated by that – Kelce adamantly worked his love of music into his life playing professional football in Philadelphia, playing sax with the Philadelphia Orchestra and other youth ensembles around Philly following the Super Bowl win.

Previously here on BroBible, I posted Part I of my BEARD TALK with Jason Kelce.

Old Spice just recruited Jason and his brother Travis to launch their new line of beard care products, which includes a beard wash, beard oil, beard balm, and a beard conditioner. You can go grab the Old Spice beard kit is now available on Amazon.

Now it’s time for Part II: A discussion on his love for music and how it’s helped him develop skills for football over the years. My dad’s a high school band director in Pennsylvania and he was even kind enough to give his band of 200+ high school kids a little shout out back in my hometown.

What a good dude, that Jason Kelce.

Now someone teach this man the piano so he can get that finger dexterity back, stat. The Eagles need those in peak condition.
