The NFL world has been having a lot of fun over the past few weeks with rumors that Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is dating music icon Taylor Swift.

From Rich Eisen sprinkling in a bunch of Taylor Swift puns on NFL GameDay Morning to NFL announcer Ian Eagle making a Taylor Swift reference after a Travis Kelce touchdown, everyone and their brother is having a good time with it.

Speaking of brothers, Travis Kelce’s brother Jason is also one of those who appears to be relishing the rumors.

Last week, Jason Kelce was asked about the Travis and Taylor rumors by Tony Gonzalez.

“Ever since Catching Kelce, everyone’s been infatuated with Travis’s love life,” Jason answered without really answering. “I don’t really know what’s going on there. I know Travis is having fun and we’ll see what happens with whoever he ends up with.”

On Wednesday, however, Jason Kelce was a little bit more forthcoming during an appearance on the WIP Morning Show.

“You know, I don’t know,” Kelce responded when asked how his brother and Swift were doing. “It’s, it’s hard to answer because I don’t
really know a lot about what’s happening in Travis’s love life and I try to like, keep, uh, you know, his business kind of his business and
stay out of that world, you know?

“But having said that, man, I, I think it’s doing great and I think it’s all 100 percent true.”

Wait, what?

So, were all those people freaking out about Taylor Swift wearing a necklace with Travis Kelce’s birthstone, opal, right in their suspicions?

Even though Swift has worn opal jewelry for years and even referenced the stone in her songs?

“Your opal eyes are all I wish to see,” she sang in “Ivy.”

And even though she talked about her love for the stone in a 2016 interview?

“When I was bullied in school my mom used to take me to TJ Maxx after school to look at the opal jewelry,” she told Us Weekly. “I thought opals were so beautiful, and somehow it made me feel better. We never bought them, just looked.”

Based on Jason Kelce’s comment, it sure appears that they were.
