Despite Getting His Hand Blown Up, Jason Pierre-Paul Is Still Easily Benching 225-Pounds

It’s still the offseason for New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul. After blowing off his index finger from a fireworks mishap over 4th of July weekend, and missing out on a huge contract, JPP is back in the gym, attempting to come back from his injury.

Pierre-Paul showed the world that one little finger and a fractured thumb can’t hold him down. Here he is effortlessly benching 225-pounds.

Pierre-Paul has justified his ability to play sans finger by saying, “I can’t think of the last time my index finger got me a sack.” I have all ten of my fingers and I can’t lift half of that weight, but at least if a stranger asks me for directions I can easily point them in the right way.
