Everyone is pouring on New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson after another putrid performance. To make matters worse, he’s handled himself very unprofessionally as he hasn’t taken much accountability. Regardless, Quinnen Williams goes to bat for his teammate amid the public outcry.
According to Jets Videos, the star defensive tackle made sure to have Zach Wilson’s back during his interview. Apparently, the second-year quarterback did not address the defense after his shocking “no” response to letting his teammates down. Even so, Quinnen Williams supports Wilson.

Hey, if Jets fans are looking for an example of leadership, Quinnen Williams just displayed it. He’s not adding more drama on top of what is already a dire situation in New York. Instead, he shows full support for Wilson, despite the lack of leadership the young quarterback has shown this season.
The Jets’ defensive tackle is a star player for the defense. If anyone is going to feel let down by the quarterback play, it would be Williams. So this is rather crucial if New York wants to bounce back from this situation. It’ll be interesting to see if they’re capable of doing so. Especially considering they’re still in the playoff race.
Look for this team to potentially get back in the win column in Week 12, as the Jets take on the Chicago Bears.
