The rumors of Jim Harbaugh leaving for the NFL after the college football season are starting to heat up again.

A few weeks ago, it was reported that two teams, the Carolina Panthers and the Chicago Bears, were interested in talking to Harbaugh about his services next year.

On Tuesday, college football insider Bruce Feldman appeared on The Next Round podcast and said everything he’s hearing makes him feel that Harbaugh will jump ship at the end of the season.

“There’s a much better chance that Jim Harbaugh is coaching his last game [than Nick Saban],” “He’s flirted with the NFL the previous two off-seasons. In fact, he went and interviewed with the Minnesota Vikings on signing day, no less, two years ago. Then, last year, he was in the mix with the Broncos job and ultimately turned it down.”

Feldman believes the primary reason Harbaugh is going to leave is because he would have to rebuild again due to several Michigan players leaving for the NFL draft.

“He told me when I saw him in the summer that they were going to break Georgia’s record and have 20 guys drafted off this team, and they’re going to have a lot of guys drafted off this team. The nucleus is going to move on to the NFL.”

Michigan has already reportedly offered Harbaugh $11 million a year to stay at the school with the condition that he can’t talk to any NFL teams. The Michigan Wolverines play Alabama in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day, which could end up being Harbaugh’s final game with the school.
