The Arizona Cardinals pretty much had control of the entire game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. They looked solid as the defense did its part throughout. However, the referees took a potential defensive touchdown away from JJ Watt. For that reason, he’s now pulling through for a sports better.
Pickswise shares the Twitter exchange between Watt and Joey Lays, a random dude who bet a parlay on the Cardinals game. He needed an anytime touchdown from the defense. It would have happened, but the refs called the play dead.
So, he hit up JJ Watt to help him out, as Lays claims he, “got screwed.” Lo and behold, Watt responded to him and seems to be hooking up the sports better.

This is a pretty cool moment for any sports fan or better. It probably helps that JJ Watt feels he got screwed out of a would-be touchdown as well. Even so, the Cardinals star could have just ignored the tweet altogether. Instead, it appears he’s going to help a guy out.
JJ Watt has always been about the fans. He’s constantly seen signing autographs and taking pictures with people. Additionally, he has to be feeling on cloud nine after Arizona beat the Rams impressively. So, why not help a sports better out and make another fan for life?
The Cardinals’ defense has been solid this year and Watt is a major reason why. For whatever reason, many keep sleeping on this unit. However, based on their last performance against Los Angeles, maybe it’s time to give JJ Watt and company more respect.
