For the past two years NFL superstar JJ Watt has endured brutal season-ending injuries early on in the season. In 2016, Watt played only three games before undergoing surgery to repair a herniated disk and then proceeded to break his left leg five games into the 2017 season.
Watt admits that the journey has been tough but he’s ready to bounce back this year.

“I was depressed,” Watt, the Houston Texans all-pro defensive end, said at the Adobe Summit in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
“There were moments that I was extremely sad and depressed. I mean, the game I loved was taken away from me. I couldn’t do what I expected to be able to do.”
“I’ve had two of the toughest years of my life personally in having season-ending injuries two years in a row,” said Watt, 29, who will enter his eighth NFL season this year.
Today, Watt posted a shirtless post-workout pic during his comeback and of course everyone on the Internet made the same “Incredible Hulk” joke.
