For One Of The Highest Paid Players In The NFL, JJ Watt’s Houston Home Is Kind Of A Shanty

You guys remember back in 2014 when JJ Watt signed a six-year, $100 million contract and then Googled ‘what do rich people buy?’ Well, he must have been using Bing because he obviously didn’t learn shit. Rich people buy dope ass mansions with bowling alleys and tennis courts and a fruit punch fountain.

JJ decided to throw his money at a 4,169 square foot, 4 bedroom, 4 bath modest home in Houston. Granted, the place does have a saltwater pool with a tub surrounded by a patio with pergola and outdoor kitchen, but when you compare it to Demarcus Ware’s 10,000 square foot Dallas mansion with seven fireplaces, a wine cellar, and an indoor putting green, Watt’s place looks like a dorm room.

JJ has put the place on the market for a price of $465,000. Check it out below, courtesy of Zillow.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
