Joe Burrow may only be 26-years-old, but he is already an expert in how to make and keep fans.

The man with a thousand nicknames like Joe Cool, Joe Brrr, Joe Sheisty, and his latest self-given moniker Joey De La Cruz, has shown time and time again that he gets how blessed he is.

(The Joey De La Cruz nickname is a combination of homage to Cincinnati Reds’ rookie superstar Elly De La Cruz and a reference to him hitting several home runs during a recent Reds batting practice session.)

“Good thing you didn’t use my last name. That would be awkward,” Joey Votto joked, commenting on the photo.

Joe Burrow’s latest act of generosity came last Friday during a visit to Columbus, Ohio. (Burrow is a Ohio State graduate, despite having his best college seasons at LSU, where he was a graduate transfer.)

While there, Burrow made a very unexpected visit to a German Village restaurant called the Brown Bag Deli.

Brown Bag Deli employee Ethan Benton was working the grill when he received an order for four Classic Clubs (smoked turkey, crispy bacon and a special garlic-herb mayo sauce on locally baked sourdough bread).

“It was really slow until all these people came in, so it was a bit of a rush,” Benton told the Columbus Dispatch.

“I didn’t know who it was (at first), but it was Joe Burrow. I guess he needs his fuel.”

That fuel reportedly also included a little locally made baklava.

“It was wild,” Benton added. “It is cool to know I toasted up his sandwiches. … He just seems like a nice guy.”

Another customer, Kate Haugh, was also at the deli at the time and was able to snap a selfie with the Bengals star.

“Pretty cool…famous guest tonight! He enjoyed our club Sammie with some buddies…do you all recognize this guest????!!!” the Brown Bag Deli asked on Instagram.

The bill for Burrow’s order ended up coming to $57 and he left a $50 tip.

“He’s a great guy,” said Brown Bag Deli owner Molly Merkle.

No wonder so many guys are worried about him stealing their girl.
