Joe Burrow looked a bit scared in a recent press conference leading to a hilarious reaction on social media. In a now viral video, the passer was seen jumping at the sound of a cough from a reported in the crowd.

Fans are saying the hits are finally getting to him.

Burrow has been sacked 18 times through five games. Thirteen of those takedowns came in the first two contests. The Bengals are now 2-3 on the year, and their star quarterback seems jumpy ahead of his Week 6 matchup.

The constant pressure seen over the start of the season seems to have Burrow looking over his shoulder, and honestly, we can’t blame him. That offensive line has struggled both in pass protection and in the run game. Anyone in his position would likely have a flashback or two of a 300-pound defender charging towards them.

Folks on Twitter quickly posted their replies to the video, providing followers with a few comical comments.

After seeing Joe Burrow get scared by a cough in his press conference, fans trolled the Bengals’ offensive line.

One fan wrote, “That O-line got this man shook,” after seeing the funny clip. Another replied, “Joe always on high alert with that offensive line.”

This person posted, “You try getting hit as much as he has this year and tell me you wouldn’t be looking over your shoulder.”

A few Twitter users said he was seeing ghosts of games past.

This person commented, “O-line got him fearing anything and everything,” to which someone replied, “He saw the ghost of Micah Parsons in the corner of his eye.”

The line has gotten better over the last few games, allowing just five sacks since Week 2. Not surprisingly, the Bengals have won two of those three contests.

If they can keep that performance up, Cincy can still make a run this year. If not, spooky season will extend far past October for Burrow.
