Joe Rogan is once again speaking out against the UFC White House event.
In two weeks, the UFC will hold an event on the South Lawn of the White House to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
Leading up to the event, Dana White has spoken publicly about some of the issues the UFC is facing in holding an outdoor event in the summer, including gnats.
“President Trump just opened the Rose Garden two nights ago, and he invited me to dinner there. The amount of gnats that were flying around … I’m like, ‘Holy s–t.’ As soon as I got on the plane, I called my head production and said, ‘Yeah, let me tell you about the gnat situation tonight.’”
During a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan voiced his concerns about holding UFC championship fights outdoors.
“The White House thing is odd, I don’t like it, I don’t like the idea of fighting outside at all. And then it’s June, and it’s DC, and we looked it up the last time. Like last year, the same day was like 100 degrees. That’s hot as f–k. And then the lights could bring bugs, and then they were talking about using fans. Is that enough? With bug strips everywhere? What are you gonna do? Like, how are you gonna stop the bugs?”
😳Joe Rogan says he hates the idea of having an UFC event at the White House:

I just don’t think you should compete in a world championship fight in a non-controlled environment. It should be… pic.twitter.com/jimKOcfNND

It is also worth noting that a major outdoor boxing event took place just last week in Egypt between Oleksandr Usyk and Rico Verhoeven.
