Joel Embiid Rips Celtics Nemesis Aron Baynes And His ‘Man Bun’ After C’s Lose Game 4

After losing in just five games in the Eastern Conference semis to an injury-ridden (albeit young and very talented) Celtics team, Joel Embiid’s impressive sophomore season has come to an end. He wasted no time in enjoying his offseason, as he is currently at Paradise Island in the Bahamas with model and rumored girlfriend, Jocelyn Chew.

A sparse Tweeter, the 24-year-old Embiid took a break from his Caribbean vacation to take a shot at Celtics backup center, Aron Baynes, who he jawed with for most of the previous series.

Exhibit A of many:

During the waning moments of last night’s Cavs Game 4 victory to even the series, Embiid took a shot at the New Zealand native, who sports a man bun.

I am a Celtics fan, and I can confirm that Baynes does have a proclivity to get banged on. I can also confirm that you can’t get dunked on if you don’t have the stones to make a play on the ball.

Hey Joel, not trying to tell you how to live your life, but what the hell are you doing thinking about Aron Baynes when you’re in paradise with this heavenly woman by your side?

At the time of me writing this, Baynes hasn’t responded to the jab. He’s likely getting prepared to face the best player on the planet in Game 5. Embiid has been up against some decent competition lately too.
