Joey Chestnut, the world’s most formidable competitive eater, just blew away the Detroit Pistons with his skills.

In a recent video shared by the Detroit Pistons, players attempted to guess how many chicken wings Joey Chestnut, aka ‘Jaws’, could put down in 3 minutes and 13 seconds.

The last-place Detroit Pistons squad then watched in astonishment as the greatest competitive eater the world has ever known did his thing.

Chestnut puts down 38 wings in 3 minutes and 13 seconds. And he does it in front of some guys who can EAT.

These are professional athletes who burn a LOT of calories on a daily basis. Yet they are left in utter astonishment by Joey Chestnut’s ability to put down chicken wings in a hurry.

I love when a person off camera tells Joey Chestnut he ate 38 wings in 3 minutes and 13 seconds and his kneejerk response was ‘That’s it?’

Chestnut ‘holds 55 World Records across 55 disciplines’ and Major League Eating calls that ‘a World Record of World Records.’ Among those records is 182 chicken wings in 30 minutes.

Here he is prepping for when he set that competitive eating world record:

I’m trying to wrap my mind around eating 38 wings at all, let alone in 3 minutes and 13 seconds. 182 chicken wings in 30 minutes is unfathomable.

The replies to Joey Chestnut’s latest feat are spectacular:
