Johnathan Franklin-Myers, a defensive end for the New York Jets, has but one question upon his arrival in Houston: does anybody know where he can get a good massage?

Taking to Twitter on Thursday night, Franklin-Myers asked if “anyone know a good Massage Therapist in Houston?” The tweet went viral almost instantaneously as NFL fans immediately thought he was taking a shot at former Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Quickly realizing the implication of his tweet, Franklin-Myers claimed that he wasn’t trying to take a shot at Watson, who is now with the Cleveland Browns:

Watson, a former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback at Clemson University, was shipped out of Houston after he was accused by more than 24 women of sexual misconduct and/or assault.

Despite the alleged assaults, the Cleveland Browns not only traded for Watson but gave him a fully-guaranteed $230 million contract.

After returning from his 11-game suspension, Watson started in six games for the Browns this year and posted a 3-3 record. In those six games, Watson completed 58& of his passes for 1,102 yards, seven touchdowns, and five interceptions.

Franklin-Myers, who has been with the New York Jets since 2019, was drafted bu the Los Angeles Rams out of Stephen F. Austin University in the 4th round of the 2018 NFL Draft. During his five-year NFL career, Franklin-Myers has accumulated 102 tackles, 16 sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception.
