Jordan Mailata is one of the best offensive linemen in the NFL and also has the voice of angel. The 27-year-old Australia-native has some serious singing pipes!
He popped up at a local Philadelphia bar over the weekend and brought the house down with a smooth cover of ‘Valerie’ by the Zutons. (Amy Winehouse had the better version!)
As the story goes, a band called ‘Code Emo’ was playing at the Green Parrott tavern in Newton, Pennsylvania on Friday night. A private party started to fill in around 10:45pm and a very, very large man was among them.
That man was Mailata. The starting left tackle for the Eagles stands 6-foot-8, 365 pounds.
One thing led to another and Mailata hopped up on stage to sing with the band!
The whole place was enamored by his remarkable vocals.
This is not a new thing. It is still just as impressive.

Mailata had a very interesting journey to the NFL and first went crazy viral for singing Chris Stapleton’s Tennessee Whiskey during a team meeting in 2021. His teammates were blown away.
Nearly one year later, the Rugby-turned-NFL star took his talent nationwide.
Mailata was a contestant on Season 7 of Fox’s hit series ‘The Masked Singer’ and performed Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’ during the first round. It made ken Jeong cry!
Unfortunately, his performance of MKTO’s ‘Classic’ was not enough to keep him in the competition. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t awesome.
Although Mailata’s time on The Masked Singer lasted just two weeks, his talent as a vocalist was no longer a secret. Everybody knows he can sing and, boy, he can sing!

He joined fellow defensive lineman Jordan Davis on a Mario smash hit a few months later.
Mailate even sang for Jill Biden at the Eagles’ holiday party!
If that wasn’t cool enough, he broke out a rendition of ‘Isn’t She Lovely’ at his own wedding last summer!
All of these various performances don’t even include his multiple feature tracks on the Philadelphia Eagles’ Christmas album. Jordan Mailata is destined for a career in music once football comes to an end!
