The Pittsburgh Steelers have had to deal with their fair share of injuries this year, as the team lost Ben Roethlisberger to a season-ending elbow injury in Week Two and were forced to turn to Mason Rudolph to replace him, which—as Mike Tomlin sternly noted on Tuesday—didn’t exactly work out too well.
A couple of weeks ago, the injury bug bit the Steelers in a big way during their matchup against the Browns when they lost running back James Conner after he suffered some damage to his shoulder in addition to wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who was knocked out of the game in the second quarter thanks to a concussion.
Both players missed last week’s contest against the Bengals and their status is uncertain heading into the team’s rematch against Cleveland on Sunday, as Conner is erring on the side of caution when it comes to his return and Smith-Schuster is yet to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol.
However, it would appear the wide receiver isn’t exactly taking it easy, as he made the very questionable decision to post a video of himself cruising down the highway at 104 MPH in his BMW on Tuesday night.
It’s not entirely clear why Smith-Schuster thought it would be a good idea to channel his inner Antonio Brown—who got nailed by police for pulling a similar stunt in his Porsche last year—nor is it clear why the hell he thought it would be wise to throw the video on his Instagram Story.
Name a more iconic duo than Steelers receivers doing stupid shit in expensive cars. I’ll wait.
