This is the most important stat you need to know about this Saturday’s matchup between Kansas and Texas Tech: the Jayhawks are 0-8 against the spread this season. Seven of Kansas’ eight losses have come by more than 30 or more points as well. This is a very, very bad football team we’re talking about here folks.

Texas Tech enters the contest losers of three of their last four games but did show some serious life last weekend falling to Oklahoma State 50-44 in a thriller. Oh, the Red Raiders can actually move the football as well, which is something the Jayhawks absolutely can not do.

 

Kansas is averaging 264.9 yards per game which is the third-fewest in all of Division I football. Texas Tech on the other hand averaged just under 432 yards per game. Both of these defenses are atrocious, but that may not matter given just how bad Kansas is on the offensive side of the football.

Sure, 27 points may seem like a lot for an average Tech team to give up to any team, but Texas Tech is averaging 30.6 points per game this season and has scored over 35 points three times this season. Expect to see the Red Raiders score in bunches on Saturday and the exact opposite from Kansas.

TTU rolls in this one and moves to 4-6 on the season with ease.
