When it comes to working on air, sometimes some slip ups can happen. That certainly seemed to be the case with Kendrick Perkins on Monday morning.

While the First Take crew was discussing the NBA Finals, Perkins got called out for moaning into his mic while JJ Redick was busy talking.

It was a rather hilarious moment, as even Stephen A. Smith chimed in and called out the former NBA center.

ClutchPoints shares the clip of Redick and Smith being fed up with Kendrick Perkins’ moans on live TV.

Stephen A. Smith nailed it on the head. It really sounds like Perkins is struggling with sleep apnea while being wide awake.

Maybe pull the mic away from your mouth, Perk. Especially if you’re going to be breathing heavily into everybody’s ear.

NBA fans could’t help but laugh at the ridiculousness of the scene on Fist Take.

Kendrick Perkins has been moaning on air for a bit too long.

The only difference between Kendrick Perkins and Homer Simpson is that Perkins played in the NBA.

Anybody who plays online video games are all too familiar with those moaning sounds.

Maybe this will end the heavy breathing everybody hears on air whenever they watch ESPN. If not, then maybe it’s time to get Kendrick Perkins a new mic.

Or at the very least, move it further away from his mouth. I don’t know, but there has to be a solution to this problem.

Oh well. We’re just glad the clip brought some entertainment to lighten the day.
