Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett made a guest appearance at a Luke Combs concert in Pittsburgh over the weekend. He soon went viral for chugging a beer with the country music superstar on stage.

NFL fans are now reacting to the scene on social media.

Luke Combs played at Acrisure Stadium this weekend as a part of his 2023 World Tour. He had the fans in attendance revved up, unlike what we saw from Morgan Wallen in Oxford last weekend.

To further pump up that Steel City crowd, the singer had a special guest lined up for his performance in the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Mid-concert, the team’s starting quarterback stepped onto stage to enjoy a quick beverage with the music megastar. Pickett was seen absolutely devouring a beer in front of a raucous crowd.

After shotgunning the Miller Lites, Combs hopped right back into his performance, singing a song arm in arm with the Steelers’ gunslinger.

Fans online were quick to react as they posted their responses to the video clip on social media.

One fan said, “That’s my quarterback,” while another simply wrote, “QB1.”

Some weren’t surprised as they looked back at his touchdown celebrations while a member of the Pitt Panthers.

The passer appears to be enjoying the offseason, but he’ll soon have to gear up for Year 2 with the Steelers.

Kenny Pickett was thrust into the starting role as a rookie, and he showed his ability to lead the offense. In his debut season, the signal caller threw for 2,404 yards and seven scores. More importantly, he went 7-5 as a starter.

We’ll see how he fares next year as he looks to get Pittsburgh back to the playoffs.
