Over the course of his NBA career, Kevin Durant has had the chance to play alongside a number of notable teammates.

Before he ever left the Oklahoma City Thunder, he teamed up with Russell Westbrook and James Harden.

Then he headed to the Golden State Warriors where he joined Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

With the Nets, he was reunited with Harden and also became a teammate of Kyrie Irving.

Now he’s a member of the Phoenix Suns alongside Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and Bradley Beal.

With so many big names having worked with Durant, it’s easy for some talents to get overlooked throughout his career.

Earlier today on Twitter, Durant was asked which of the teammates he has had play alongside him was the most underrated.

Durant gave a surprising answer and named Jeremy Lamb as his most underrated teammate.

Jeremy Lamb was drafted by the Thunder and had the chance to play there along with Durant for 3 seasons.

Lamb’s time with the team came after Harden left for Houston, but he was still far from being the star of the show during his time in OKC.

He only started 8 games during his time there, but was still a solid piece for a Thunder squad that was among the NBA’s best. He averaged 7 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game during his time with the Thunder.

While those aren’t huge numbers, it seems the few seasons he spent with Durant were enough to leave an impression on the former MVP.

Lamb went on to have more success with the Charlotte Hornets after he was traded for Luke Ridnour.

He brought his averages up to 11.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game with the Hornets.

Now he holds the title of Kevin Durant’s most underrated teammate.
