There has been a lot of talk about Kevin Durant leaving the Warriors this season to join the New York Knicks.

Earlier this week both Colin Cowherd and Stephen A Smith had Durant to the Knicks as a sure thing.

“An NBA veteran player that’s very, very connected—been around this league a long time—told me 15 minutes ago KD to the Knicks is 100 percent done, and he has made calls to other players,

Here’s Stephen A giving KD to the Knicks a “95 percent probability.

“I’m told it’s a 90 to 95 percent possibility, assurity rather, that Kevin Durant is going to New York—that’s what I’m told,”

“Folks have stopped short of saying it’s a sure thing, but they have used the exact words ’95 percent probability’ that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are coming to Madison Square Garden next season.”

According to a report from NewsDay’s Steve Popper on Nba exec reveals that Durant is current;y unhappy with Steve Kerr and is frustrated that he will never be the centerpiece of the Warriors.

It wasn’t just talk about the Knicks securing the services of Durant, but that the elite scorer is bolting the Warriors despite all of the success. No one would put a name on their thoughts, but they did at least in their minds, figure out the hardest part of the Durant free agency question: why would he leave the Warriors?

But one front office executive said that Durant has been unhappy with the prodding from Steve Kerr and the feeling that he never can be — no matter how great he performs and how many individual honors he compiles — the centerpiece of a team that holds Steph Curry in the hearts of the franchise.

This seems absurd considering Durant has been the focal point of the Warriors all season long but maybe this exec knows something that we don’t.
