The NBA officially decided to suspend Ja Morant 25 games, which caused some waves in the basketball world.

Meanwhile, many former players have come out offering their best advice for the young Memphis Grizzlies star.

The latest to do so are Kevin Garnett and his former Boston Celtics teammate Tony Allen.

During Garnett’s show KG Certified, the two former teammates discussed Morant’s situation.

Kevin Garnett was adamant about Ja Morant needing to step up and becoming the professional he is expected to be in the NBA. Meanwhile, Tony Allen touches base on the people closest the young star.

Listen to their words of wisdom, as it is sound advice for any young star in the league.

Hopefully, these messages reach Morant. It’s pretty amazing seeing how many former players are lending a helping hand to the struggling superstar.

When he’s on the court, Ja Morant is easily one of the best players in the league. But this previous season proved to be a concern, as his off court antics got the better of him.

But if you’re going to take advice from anyone, it might as well be Kevin Garnett. The Hall of Fame power forward finished his career averaging 17.8 points, 10 rebounds, while shooting nearly 50 percent from the floor.

Additionally, Tony Allen isn’t a bad person to listen to either. Especially considering he played for the Grizzlies after winning a championship with Garnett in Boston.

So, Ja Morant definitely has plenty of people in his corner. However, the question remains, will he take their advice and make the necessary changes?

Only time will tell. He’s due to sit out the first 25 games of next season. So, maybe the time away from the team help him change his ways.
