Kim Mulkey continues to take shots at the Washington Post.

Last week, the LSU women’s basketball head coach went on a wild rant during a press conference, claiming the Post was writing a “hit piece” about her and that she planned to sue the paper over it.

On Saturday morning, the Washington Post’s Kent Babb released his profile on Mulkey hours before LSU’s Sweet 16 game vs UCLA, and many felt that it was a fair representation of Mulkey.

Mulkey was asked about the piece before the LSU-UCLA game in an interview with ESPN and she once again slammed the Washington Post over the timing of the story’s release.

“You’re telling me something I didn’t know, so you’re the bearer of good news or bad news…but are you really surprised by the timing of it? But I can tell you I haven’t read it, don’t know that I will read it, I’ll leave that up to my attorneys.”

It’s unclear if Mulkey will still sue the Washington Post after the release of the story or if she will ignore it now that it’s not as bad as she imagined it would be.
