The Kirby Smart Pregame Speech Will Make You Want To Run Through A Wall

A lot of people predicted that Georgia and Kirby Smart would run over the TCU Bulldogs on Monday night in the national championship game. After all, there was quite a talent disparity on the field.

But, I don’t think anyone thought it would be as bad as it was. Georgia won the game by a score of 65-7. It was the worst loss in the history of college football bowl games.

And, the game may not have even been as close as that score. TCU was out gained a whopping 588-189, only had 9 first downs to Georgia’s 32, and lost the turnover battle 3-0.

A lot of that was due to poor play by the Horned Frogs. But, Georgia played about as well as a football team can play. Aside from one blown assignment in pass coverage in the first quarter, mistakes were nearly nonexistent. They were operating at the peak of their powers, so to speak.

That may have all started with an incredible pregame speech given by Kirby Smart. This speech will make you want to run through a wall.

My goodness. He was on fire. It must have been awesome to have been a player in that locker room, knowing that Smart has your back like that.
