Klay Thompson Takes Funny Jab At Draymond Green’s Shooting Struggles On D’Angelo Russell’s Instagram Post

There are very few players in the NBA who want smoke with Draymond Green, as the youths say.

We are just one week removed from Draymond taking a shot at Tony Durant, brother of Kevin, in the comments of a heartwarming Instagram picture Tony posted of his family and a newborn baby. Draymond knows no rules of engagement.

If Durant is going to take any shots, it’s likely going to come by way of friendly fire. Insert Klay Thompson.

During an introductory photoshoot with the new-look Warriors (ok, just adding D’Angelo Russel), Klay Thompson took a jab at Dray for his shooting woes (30.8 percent, 30.1 percent and 28.5 percent, respectively from three in each of the past three seasons). It warmed my heart.

Mind you, Draymond was fresh off complimenting Klay when asked about whether the Kevin Durant-less Warriors can go to the Finals again this year.

Klay, who will be out until at least the All Star break nursing an ACL tear, didn’t let up on the former Defensive Player of the Year.

No word on whether Draymond will shoot back. But if he does, he’ll probably miss. Boom roasted.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
