WWE legend Kurt Angle recently went back to his old stomping grounds for RAW is XXX, the thirtieth anniversary show of Monday Night Raw.
A who’s who of the wrestling world was in attendance along with Kurt Angle including Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Ric Flair, X-Pac, Teddy Long, Jerry Lawler, Ron Simmons, “Road Dogg” Jesse James, Triple H, Hulk Hogan, Ted DiBiase, Jimmy Hart, Mike Rotunda, Lita, Alundra Blayze, The Godfather, Diamond Dallas Page, and Booker T.
The show opened with Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart welcoming fans to the show.
Hogan appeared to be in decent health as he hyped the crowd up in his usual manner.
However, backstage during the event, Kurt Angle says Hulk Hogan is going through a lot health-wise, including not being able to feel his legs.
“I did speak to Hulk Hogan for a bit of time for about a half hour and I also spoke to Undertaker for about a half hour,” Angle said on his podcast this week, while discussing Raw is XXX. “Those two guys are the two guys that I wanted to catch up with when I went there, so I was very happy to be able to do that.”
Later, Angle dropped the bombshell about Hulk Hogan and his back issues.
“Hogan had his back surgery again,” Angle revealed. “He had the nerves cut from his lower body. He can’t feel his lower body, so he has to use his cane to walk around.
“I thought he was using the cane because he has pain in his back. He doesn’t have any pain. He has nothing at all. He can’t feel anything.
“So now he can’t feel his legs, so he has to walk with a cane. That’s pretty serious, man. I mean, I really feel for Hogan. He put his heart and soul into the business and it ate him up.”
Wrestling fans, many who saw Hulk Hogan on Raw is XXX and had no idea about the extent of his health woes, were shocked at Kurt Angle’s revelation.
That’s gotta be a crazy feeling to be able to walk but not feel your legs.

“The nerve torn in my back is at 4 and 5 and it is an internal tear on my nerve. If they cut on me , my doctors said this would happen. I’m sorry he had to go thru this,” one fan tweeted.
“All the best wishes to you brother. I know how that feels. I had two back operations. On the second one they slashed my nerves. Changed my life completely,” tweeted another.
Thoughts & prayers & vitamins.

Considering the hundreds of times Hulk Hogan performed his signature finisher, the leg drop, over the decades, it’s little surprise he is paying for it now with severe back issues.
