The Boston Celtics superstar was in town to promote his new cereal-inspired pack of Kyrie 4 sneakers featuring Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Kix and Lucky Charms, which premiered and were being sold at House of Hoops mobile trucks durin ghte tournament. (They will also be at the Drew League in Los Angeles and at Foot Locker locations beginning Saturday, August 11th.)
Naturally, when Irving showed up it was with a grand entrance and a loud ovation as he was escorted by some massive bodyguards to his seat.
He was also rocking some nice Off White Jordan 1’s and not any of his own new kicks.
Once he was seated, Irving was treated to a very entertaining event as Cole Anthony (whose dad is former NBA star Greg Anthony) put on a show.
Also in attendace were Tim Hardaway, Jr., Isaiah Washington, Chris Brickley, Casanova and Tekashi 69.
Looks like it was a hell of a day in NYC.
