The Lakers welcome the Trail Blazers to Staples Center on Friday night for what will be the first Lakers game since the passing of Kobe Bryant this past Sunday. It will surely be one of the most emotional nights in NBA history and, as you probably expected, tickets aren’t necessarily cheap.

At the time of this story being published, the cheapest ticket on StubHub is $650 while the most expensive ticket listed on the site is $99,000.

Of course, $99,000 is an extremely high price for a ticket, but there’s a good reason as to why StubHub is listing a number of tickets at that price.

When buying tickets for the game, StubHub states that 100% of the fees from the next two Lakers games from the website will be donated to the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation.

“In honor of Kobe and Gigi Bryant, all fees for the Jan. 31 Lakers vs Portland Trailblazers game and the Lakers vs Clippers game — for whenever it is rescheduled — will be donated to the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation,” the statement says.

Talk about a  great move from the ticket selling website. StubHub could have said some cut of the ticket fees would go to the charity, but every bit of the fees is fantastic.

Now, it’s unclear whether or not StubHub is giving 100% of all proceeds to the charity, as in every penny of a $99,000 ticket for example, or just the actual fees attached to the tickets. Either way, it’s a solid gesture.

Bryant’s charity is dedicated to improving the lives of youth and families in need through encouraging young people to stay active through sports. You can check out the charity’s website here.
