21 year-old Charlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball has lived a very charmed life.
After winning a state championship as a freshman at Chino Hills High School in California, LaMelo Ball left school before his junior season to play professionally in Lithuania.
He then played in the Junior Basketball Association (JBA), a now defunct league created by his father LaVar Ball, before returning to high school for his senior season at SPIRE Academy in Ohio.
After committing to UCLA, LaMelo Ball decided to pass on that opportunity and went and played in Australia for the Illawarra Hawks of the National Basketball League (NBL) – a team he and his manager ended up buying.
Somehow, after all of that drama, he ended up being the third overall pick by the Hornets in the 2020 NBA draft, signed a $36 million – 4-year contract, and went on to win the NBA Rookie of the Year Award.
Now, having earned over $25 million from playing basketball, LaMelo Ball has decided to splash out some of that cash on a few very expensive cars, including some Ferraris and a Bentley.
We know this because Ball has run so many red lights in those cars outside Spectrum Center, the Charlotte Hornets’ arena, that someone on Twitter actually made a compilation video of it occurring.

Based on that video, LaMelo Ball is officially a menace on the road and if he doesn’t stop running red lights he might not be in the NBA much longer, or alive for that matter.
Tons of NBA fans expressed their shocked and disappointed reactions to the video on Twitter. So far, it has received a whopping 613 quote tweets. Here is a small sampling…
