LeSean McCoy says he “loves” Daejon Love, the guy who scammed over two dozen women out of $1.3 million by posing as a San Francisco 49ers player.
Last week, the Department of Justice reported that authorities arrested Daejon Love and his alleged accomplice, Taylor Jamie Chan, at a Boise, Idaho, airport. According to a federal complaint filed in Portland, Oregon, prosecutors charged the two men with wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, “The scheme relied on Love’s creation of fictitious personas and display of a lavish lifestyle which Love presented to victims both in person and on social media websites.”
One of those personas was posing as a wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers.

Former NFL star LeSean McCoy admires the alleged 49ers scammer
While most people are appalled that someone would pretend to be someone they are not in order to scam money from unsuspecting victims, former NFL running back LeSean McCoy is apparently not one of them.
“I love Daejon Love, and let me tell you why,” McCoy said on the Speakeasy podcast. “Every time a man does something they wanna crucify us for it. I watch women do this all the freaking time! You go to social media you see the girl, she got all these bags, Birkin this, Birkin that, nice house, nice car, all this stuff. She got this type of job, you know? ‘I’m a self-millionaire, I got all these things going on,’ right?
“Till you meet her, you date her and now it’s your girlfriend and you like, ‘Oh, she’s been scamming me,’ ’cause no she’s not! The bags are fake. Someone else bought it for you. You don’t have this luxury job and life that you say you do. Now I’m stuck, now I’ve been fooled. Now who’s going to pay me back for me supplying this woman’s life that I thought she was living already? So I thought I was adding to it? Nah, bro!
“The same thing that he did, I watch a lot of women do that, all the time,” LeSean McCoy continued. “I’ve been finessed a lot. You see her and you’re like ‘Damn, she’s got herself together. She seems educated. Nice house, nice car. Man, she got a lot of bags. She talks proper. Nice teeth.’ All this s—. And then you date her, now she’s your girlfriend, you live with her and you’re like ‘Yo this girl’s a bum.’
“So, I’m not mad at [Daejon] Love, bro! I watch women do it all the freaking time!”

Pretty sure what Daejon Love did isn’t the same thing. That being said, LeSean McCoy must also love Uras Agee IV – another person who was exposed online for pretending to be an NFL player who has been soliciting money for appearance fees, brand ambassador arrangements, and social media deals.
