There Is Reportedly A ‘Less Than 0 Percent Chance’ The Philadelphia Eagles Draft One Player

Heading into this year’s NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles don’t have many glaring needs on their roster.

They are coming off of a Super Bowl appearance and are returning a lot of that roster.

One important member of that roster who won’t be returning for the 2023 season is running back Miles Sanders.

That has led to speculation that the team could draft Bijan Robinson next week.

According to NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah, there is a “less than 0 percent chance” the Eagles make that pick.

Bijan revealed today that the Philadelphia Eagles are 1 of the only 2 teams that he has met with during the pre-draft process, with the other being the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It is difficult to see how he would actually end up with the Eagles.

The Eagles have picks 10 and 30. The Buccaneers have pick 19.

The top 10 is just too early to draft a running back with the way the market works at the position now.

While it’s difficult for teams to justify taking a running back anywhere in round 1 these days, it seems very unlikely that Bijan Robinson will still be sitting there at pick 30.

The Buccaneers could be the team that takes him in front of them despite their needs elsewhere on the roster and Rachaad White looking like a promising option last year.

The Buffalo Bills could also be interested in taking Robinson ahead of the Eagles.

Code Reds Thoughts on Chase Burns with the No 2 pick, Where The Reds Stand at All-Star break
CINCINNATI -- The 2024 All-Star break is here and the Reds have yet to demonstrate consistency necessary to put together a playoff run in the second half. What will it take to change that and how big a role will Elly De La Cruz play? Are the Reds building a dominant pitching staff of the future? The drafting Chase Burns with their first round pick Sunday would seem to indicate as much. C. Trent Rosecrans joins Trags on the latest episode of Code Reds to discuss.

The Eagles haven’t built two rosters that have made it to the Super Bowl over the last 10 years by making luxury picks in the first round and it would be surprising to see them start now.
