Lionel Messi Is Out There Scoring Stupid Goals Again

It may seem hard to believe, but Lionel Messi had his fair share of naysayers entering the World Cup. This is proof that we, as sports fans, don’t deserve nice things.

But the slick Argentinian star has been on an absolute rampage in Brazil. He’s scored two first-half goals against Nigeria, bringing his tournament total to four. And they haven’t been normal goals, either. It turns out the game-winner against Iran was just an appetizer.

Here are the two tallies from today.

The first came on a well-placed left-footed strike in the opening minutes.

He then turned in an even more delightful free-kick during stoppage time.

Yeah, he’s good.
