Lonzo Ball’s days in L.A. appear to be numbered and his “camp” is trying to make sure that he finds a good landing spot just in case he gets traded.
Early this morning, Anthony Davis’ agent Rich Paul dropped a bomb when he told the New Orleans Pelicans that the superstar big man had requested a trade from the team.
Apparently the Pelicans are interested in landing several of the Lakers young players, including Lonzo Ball, in exchange for Davis.
According to a report from The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Lonzo’s people told him that the Lakers guard would prefer to be traded to a third team that didn’t already have an established point guard.
It’s funny that Lonzo’s camp is trying to make trade requests when he has absolutely no leverage or say in the matter.
