I think that we may have reached peak Lavardom today. Because after watching Lonzo Ball perform “Bad and Boujee” by Migos as he takes on his dad Lavar on this week’s edition of Lip Sync Battle I really don’t know what else this family has left to do.
The checklist of things the Balls have done to gain the sporting world’s attention is like something straight out a work of fiction.
Lonzo Ball just announced he will be dropping a mixtape called “Born 2 Ball.”
His dad Lavar Ball, when he isn’t starting his own basketball league, sitting in an ice tub having a shooting contest with Kevin Hart, or “cutting off” ESPN writers, is making life miserable for yet another coach, this time in LITHUANIA!
He’s also now claiming that he will be selling his own Big Baller Brand water (despite his company getting an “F” grade from the Better Business Bureau).
And NOW, now Lonzo and Lavar will be dueling it out on Lip Sync Battle this week.
Which, of course, means that we will be treated to Lavar in all his self-promoting glory on the newly christened Paramount Network. (RIP, Spike TV.)
