New LSU Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin has seemingly never had any issue being labeled the “bad boy” of college football, but now it appears that Kiffin can’t even follow the rules he sets for himself.

The former LSU head coach was already in hot water after posting on X in support of a fight between LSU and Ole Miss baseball fans. Now he’s adding fuel to the fire by posting and immediately breaking his own set of rules.

Kiffin returned to X on April 13 to post what he labeled as his “Plan for April.” The plans included the following

  • Stay Private
  • Work Hard
  • Dress Well
  • Eat Healthy
  • Talk Less
  • Do More
  • Live Life
  • Be Kind
  • Stay Humble
  • Avoid Drama
  • Chase Goals
  • Love God

Lane Kiffin Completely Missed The Irony Of His Plan For April

Now, in theory, those are all perfectly fine rules.

But there’s just one very big problem. By taking to social media and posting these plans, he immediately broke the first rule on his list: “Stay private.”

If Kiffin were to stay private, he would have simply set rules for himself to follow and not felt the need to share them with the rest of the world. But that’s not all, not only halfway through the month, Kiffin has also already broken rules like “Be Kind,” “Stay Humble,” and “Avoid Drama” with his posts regarding the LSU-Ole Miss baseball altercation.

He simply can’t help himself! Meanwhile, his replacement at Ole Miss, Pete Golding, is extremely locked in on football, as he recently displayed on the Always College Football show with Greg McIlroy.

There’s no debating that Kiffin is a darn good college football coach in his own right. But man, he sure seems to create a lot of his own drama only to turn around and wonder why drama follows him everywhere he goes.
