It’s that time of year when professional athletes from the NFL and NBA share their workout videos on social media.

Usually, they’re impressive, but the one Luka Doncic shared is receiving a different type of reaction.

The Dallas Mavericks star showed off his skills running the cone-drill, which is a great way to work on your conditioning. Especially if you play basketball.

Now, typically watching an NBA player run the cone-drill is impressive, as they’re able to move from cone-to-cone rather quickly.

But that wasn’t the case for Luka Doncic, as he looked incredibly slow in his workout video. Take a look for yourself with the clip below!

To be fair, Doncic is what? 6’7″ and like 230 pounds? The bigger you are the more slow you’re going to be at the cone-drill. So, it’s understandable why Luka Doncic appears to struggle with this workout.

Regardless, he plays the point guard position in the highest level of basketball in the world.

You’d think he’d be moving a bit quicker than he is in the video. Either way, sports fans couldn’t help but react to Doncic running the cone-drill.

This might be the perfect plan to motivate Luka Doncic during his workout.

The Mavericks’ star is a machine.

Who needs athleticism when you can just rely on fundamentals?

Of course, there are people defending Doncic too.

All jokes aside, everybody is aware about how good Luka Doncic is at basketball. It’s just funny to see one of the NBA’s biggest stars look pedestrian for 12 seconds.

When it comes down to it, Doncic will be ready for the upcoming season that kicks off in a few months.

So, maybe he’ll improve his cone-drill speed before then.
