There is nothing quite like a college football Saturday stacked from noon to night with must-watch games.

Just ask ESPN and New York radio star Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo.

Russo went viral on Wednesday’s episode of First Take thanks to an all-time great rant where he detailed his plans for the weekend.

Russo started by informing viewers wife would be in Arizona to visit his son. And that because of the bad weather anticipated all throughout the Mid-Atlanatic, he’s going to be making himself a cocktail by noon on Saturday.

Only after he goes for a run and walks his dog, of course.

But it didn’t stop there.

Russo also said he’ll be splitting a weed gummy in half to be taken at two separate times: once with the start of the noon games and another for the 3:30 kickoffs.

“At about 12:00, I’ll sit down, I’ll make an early cocktail, cut a gummy in half — we got Florida State-Clemson. I like the Florida State quarterback. I’ll do something [bet] there,” Russo says.

“At about 3:25, when I’m sauced — I’m not driving, at the house — I’ll put the call into Fat Rob. 718-504… I’ll put the call into Fat Rob: ‘Rob, you know, what the hell — I can’t root for Oregon. I’ll pretend on TV. Put ten dimes on Colorado and Deion. So by 3:25 I’ll be sitting down with my shorts, with a t-shirt, cocktail, I’ll have the other half of the gummy.”

So, uh, about that Colorado bet.

The Buffs trailed the Ducks 35-0 at half and didn’t exactly look like coming back. Thankfully for Russo, he called an audible!

Sports Illustrated Media Podcast host Jimmy Traina shared a text exchange with Russo where he asks both what the radio star was drinking and how the bet was going.

For one: vodka cran.

But more importantly, Russo revealed that he switched the bet and instead bet the over on 71.5 points.

That’s still a big ask, given the Buffaloes’ offensive struggles.

But the score currently sits at 42-0 with 7:55 left in the contest. That means Russo is just 30 points away from his betting hitting, and it doesn’t sound like Oregon plans on stopping the scoring anytime soon.
