Mark Cuban Begs Taylor Swift To Date One Of His Players; Travis Kelce Responds

Mark Cuban, not once, but twice, on Thursday, asked Taylor Swift to please date one of his Dallas Mavericks players… and Travis Kelce responded.

After seeing the numbers that Taylor Swift brought to the NFL in the form of viewership, box office and merchandise sales, who can blame him?

On Thursday, Mark Cuban showed up on First Take and made his pitch.

“So I think it’s real, but I’m just gonna, because she doesn’t need PR,” Cuban began.

“She impacts economies when she brings her tour to a city. So I mean, literally the most popular artist on the planet right now. Not even close.

“So what I’m going to tell you, Taylor, sorry, if you’re listening, Travis. Break up with him,” Cuban suggested. “I got a bunch of good-looking single guys that play for the Dallas Mavericks.”

Stephen A. Smith then commended Cuban for being a marketing whiz and added that his pitch isn’t a bad strategy. (Then they got into Smith’s acting work on General Hospital, which, honestly, is also worth a watch.)

Later on Thursday, Mark Cuban doubled down on his Taylor Swift pitch when the TMZ cameras caught up with him.

“Taylor Swift impacts the economy,” he said. “She adds value everywhere she goes.

“I mean literally, cities she brings her tours to you can see the economy get a bump out of there. The NFL’s got to be loving this.

“Look, Taylor, there’s a whole bunch of guys in the NBA I’m more than happy to introduce you to. The Mavs got a bunch of single guys. Call me.”

The dude isn’t a star on Shark Tank for nothing, folks.

Of course, being as tuned in to pop culture and social media as Travis Kelce is, it didn’t take long for word to get back to him about Mark Cuban’s suggestion.
