When it comes to the most entertaining athlete accounts on Twitter, Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey certainly ranks near the top. His latest tweet, though, may find him in hot water with a certain section of the population.

Taking to Twitter on Friday morning, Humphrey tweeted that he believes plus-sized people should have their own designated seats on commercial flights.

“I’m not body shaming… but there needs to be at least 10 big body seats on every plane,” Humphrey wrote in the tweet.

Humphrey, one of the most outspoken players on the Baltimore Ravens, also made headlines earlier this week when he showed support for his teammate Lamar Jackson by letting the media know that the former MVP was “limping” around the Ravens’ facility “all week.”

Jackson — who is set to be a free agent this offseason if he and the Ravens don’t sign a new deal — missed the final month of the Ravens’ season, including their playoff defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, due to a PCL injury.

“I don’t even know if I should say this, but he’s like limping around the facility. That’s kind of the crazy thing that people don’t see… Obviously, we knew that he wasn’t going to be out there with us, but hopefully, we sign him to a big-term deal and he’s a Raven with me forever,” Humphrey said.

Drafted in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Humphrey has established himself as one of the league’s best cornerbacks as he was named first-team All-Pro in 2019 and was a Pro Bowler following the 2019, 2020, and 2022 seasons.

During the course of his six-year career, Humphrey has started 61 games for the Ravens. In his total 79 games played, he’s racked up 299 tackles, 67 pass defenses, 11 interceptions, 12 forced fumbles, and two touchdowns.
