Matt Harvey’s Model Ex Twists The Knife By Throwing Shade At Him On Instagram

Hey remember a few years back when Matt Harvey told Men’s Journal  about his ‘rule’? “I have a 48-hour rule.” Harvey said. “No drinking two days before a start.”

Twitter

Harvey relied heavily on the ‘migraine’ excuse, but when the Page Six article hit saying that Harvey was ordering liquor late night at New York’s stuffy 1Oak club two night before his scheduled start and before missing his game the next day, Harvey had to quietly succumb to his wrongdoing.

If this was back in 2001 when Harvey was 7-1 with a 2.00 ERA, this tomfoolery could be chalked up into something trivial, but when you’re posting a 5.14 ERA before going haywire over a chick, issues conflate.

After Harvey’s reputation took a beatdown for allegedly getting jealous that his not-even-girlfriend Adriana Lima was at the MET Gala with her former beau Julian Edelman, Harvey’s model ex-girlfriend, Ania Cywinska, came from the top rope to seemingly twist the knife.

Adriana Lima also posted a cryptic Instagram message that she obviously knew people were going to attach to her relationship with Harvey, accompanied with the caption “RESPONSIBILITY EQUALS THE LOVE ON WHAT YOU DO.”. Cold.

Harvey is slated to take the mound Friday when the Mets take on the Milwaukee Brewers in Wisconsin. I got my money on a laser show. Would love to be in the bleachers for that one.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
