The 4K Backside Angle Of Matthew Stafford’s No-Look Throw In The Super Bowl Is Even More Insane

Matthew Stafford made one of the most ridiculous no-look throws that you will ever see during Super Bowl LVI. Late in the fourth quarter, while trailing against the Bengals, the Rams’ first-year quarterback looked to his right, froze the defender, and then came back across his body to find Cooper Kupp.

Immediately after the pass was completed, the throw immediately went crazy across the internet. It was so good that it should put Stafford in the Hall of Fame by itself. It’s the only qualification necessary— well, and the ring.

Shortly after Los Angeles hoisted the Lombardi trophy, a second angle of the throw went viral. Filmed from the frontside of Stafford, it puts the throw into perspective for just how crazy that it really was. Even the camera guy was fooled at first before he made a quick adjustment to catch Kupp on the receiving end.

Now, a few days later, the backside angle has emerged. It is even more insane than any other look at the throw.

Bill Quach captured what might have been the crispiest shot of the Super Bowl after OBJ scored his touchdown and celebrated with a Michael Jackson moonwalk. He also was responsible for the best look at Stafford’s throw and caught it in 4K.

The shot itself is beautiful, but the way that it illuminates just how crazy the throw was is what puts it over the top.

Although you can’t see Stafford’s eyes, you can see him looking to the right side. Meanwhile, Kupp enters the frame and comes across the middle. Stafford’s head never moves and remains locked on his tight end as his arm comes forward and releases across his body for the completion.

Everything about the throw was just insane and Quach’s angle puts it into perspective. Some of the Rams are currently out partying in Las Vegas and Stafford and Kupp are already working on their no-look throws for next year.
