Hurricanes HC Mario Cristobal Admits How Angry He Is After Miami’s Blowout Loss To FSU

Mario Cristobal’s Miami Hurricanes failed to score a touchdown in their blowout loss to in-state rival FSU. The 45-3 win marked FSU’s biggest road win over the Hurricanes in the series history between these two teams.

On Monday, Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal joined The Joe Rose Show with Zach Krantz. He was asked about the blowout loss and how he is feeling in the aftermath. Cristobal didn’t hold back his anger and expressed just how angry he is after getting blown out at him to a rival.

The Miami Hurricanes made a massive, MASSIVE commitment to head coach Mario Cristobal. And they did it before he ever even moved into Coral Gables.

Cristobal signed a 10-year, $80 million contract back in December after the Hurricanes cut ties with Manny Diaz. Mario came into the season hoping to bring the Hurricanes back to prominence on the national stage but Miami is 4-5 on the season including an embarrassing 45-31 loss at home to Middle Tennessee and a 45-21 loss to Duke.

Miami’s fans want immediate results. They don’t want someone like Detroit Lions HC Dan Campbell who says all the right things and then trots out a losing team:

It’s highly likely the Hurricanes at least make a bowl game this year. If they don’t then it’ll be a major problem for Mario but signs indicate they’ll get there.
