Actor and social media personality Michael Rapoport has posted alleged direct messages from Kevin Durant that appear to show the Brooklyn Nets star threatening to spit on the 51-year-old actor, calling him a “pussy”, asking for his address and to “meet on the corner”, and insulting his wife.
While it’s unclear if Rapaport has posted the entire communication between the two, the argument appears to have started in December after Rapaport tweeted about a Durant interview with Inside The NBA and how he came across as “super sensitive about everything”. Durant responded by calling Rapaport a “bitch” and the argument escalated from there.
“As most of you know, I receive threats and disgusting messages DAILY, but never in my wildest dreams did I think @easymoneysniper would be among them. The snake himself is now threatening me, bringing up my wife and wants to fight. This is supposed to be America’s sweetheart right? KD didn’t get “hacked” either. Hold this L champ,” Rapoport wrote on Instagram.
The alleged spat with Rapaport is just the latest incident in Durant’s well-detailed history of bickering, arguing, and/or trolling on social media. Just last week, Durant — who has famously used burner accounts throughout the years — went viral for his response to a tweet that indicated he never “relaxes” when on Twitter and that he’s always “on 10 until the second he closes the app.”
There’s No relax champ. No relax when I’m on Twitter. I’m on 10 until the second I close the app. You relax!!

Durant has also responded to the beef on Twitter, replying to — yup, you guessed it — a random person, saying that he and “Mike talk crazier than this on the regular”. Rapaport disagreed and told Durant to never threaten him or his wife again.
No we don’t Pussy.
Don’t ever threaten me or speak on my wife Pussy.

Given that Durant claimed Rapaport got his lawyers involved, it’ll be interesting to see where this goes from here and how the situation evolves. Now that the alleged direct messages have been made public, there’s even a chance the NBA could get involved since Durant is, allegedly, threatening Rapaport, which is not what the league wants from one of their Top 5 marquee stars. However this beef plays out, though, let’s hope the pair continue to duke it out and social media so we can all enjoy it.
