A Mind-Blowing Brawl Between Two Girls Hoops Teams Was So Nuts That Both Of Their Seasons Got Cancelled

There have been some ridiculously crazy sports brawls in my lifetime, but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one that got this savage between two girls sports teams before, with stomping, shoving and a few fists being flung around.

In a game between Indiana high schools Ben Davis High School and Pike High School, things got more than testy, leading to this melee and, ultimately, getting both teams’ remaining season cancelled because of it.

Calling the event “an egregious and dangerous event,” IHSAA commissioner Bobby Cox disciplined both teams, with more details of the schools’ punishments were detailed in a press release from the IHSAA.

Among those other penalties, neither school will participate in the state tournament, all coaches from the schools will have to take behavioral courses, each player will have to take sportsmanship courses and the two schools will remain on probation for season, too.

Seeing as how one clip shows a girl stomping on another player, I’d say the punishments fit the harsh crimes.

Another angle of the fight can be seen above, showing just how out of control shit got.
