Miss Terry had places to be during Nick Saban’s most recent local media appearance, and she let it be known! The famed better half of college football’s greatest coach had to pull him off the podium as he continued to answer questions.

Her interaction with reporters came at the recent Nick Saban Legacy Awards.

The head coach took to the stage to speak with local media members in Birmingham for the first time since his offseason retirement. He fielded inquiries about his plans after coaching and his recent hiring at ESPN.

He also honored some of college football’s greats.

Miss Terry was on hand Monday, as she was every step of the way throughout Saban’s storied career, but when she says it’s time to go, it’s time to go!

“The Beamers are waiting on you!” she yelled up to the podium, signaling the end of the session. “The Beamers are waiting to do a family picture.”

Both Frank Beamer, and his son Shane, were on hand for the event.

Frank, of course, was a legendary leader at Virginia Tech, winning 238 games with the Hokies over nearly three decades. Shane, meanwhile, is set to enter Year 4 in Columbia as head coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Frank Beamer was honored at the awards ceremony for his accomplishments on the sidelines.

It looks like Miss Terry succeeded in snapping that family photo, as well as a few others with some of the sport’s most notable names.

What she wants, she gets!
